Project Background
Project Location: Lima, Peru.
Project Nature: Resource Sorting and Comprehensive Treatment of Domestic Waste.
Main Goal: Improve the resource utilization rate of domestic waste in Peru, reduce the proportion of landfill, improve urban environmental sanitation, and promote sustainable development through modern sorting technology.
Project Overview
Construction Time: The project will be launched in 2023 and will be officially put into use in 2024 after 4 months of construction and commissioning.
Processing Capacity:
The daily processing capacity is about 400-700 tons of domestic waste, covering household waste, commercial waste and some industrial waste.
The design scale can be dynamically adjusted according to the amount of urban waste generated to support future expansion.
Core Process and Technology:
Bag Breaking and Pretreatment: After the garbage enters the system, it is initially separated by bag breaking equipment and coarse screening.
Screening and Sorting:
Vibrating Screen: Separate garbage of different sizes and classify and recycle usable materials.
Magnetic Separation: Separate ferrous metal materials to achieve metal resource recovery.
Wind Selection System: Separate lightweight materials (such as plastics, paper, etc.).
Organic waste treatment:
The screened organic matter is composted or anaerobic fermented for the production of organic fertilizer or biogas.
Residue treatment: The non-recyclable part is harmlessly treated or used for energy.
