Project nature: Comprehensive urban solid waste treatment station.

Main goal: Help Guatemala solve the problem of urban waste treatment, reduce landfill pressure through resource utilization and reduction technology, and improve local environmental management level.

Project overview

Construction time: The project started in 2023, and after 4 months of construction, it was officially put into operation in 2024.

Processing capacity:

Daily processing capacity: about 300-600 tons of urban solid waste, covering domestic waste, industrial waste and recyclable waste.

The processing scale can be expanded according to the amount of waste and future needs.

Core technology and process:

Garbage crushing and pretreatment: Equipped with high-efficiency crushing equipment to crush and reduce the volume of large-volume garbage.

Reduce the amount of landfill by about 60%-70%, effectively extending the service life of the landfill.

The recovery rate reaches more than 85%, promoting resource recycling.

 

Stable operation:

Since its commissioning, the treatment station has been operating stably, with low equipment failure rate, meeting local daily waste treatment needs. The average daily waste treatment volume meets the design standard, and the peak processing capacity in some periods reaches 120%.

 

Resource recycling:

Recycled metals (iron, aluminum, etc.) are about 20 tons/day, with a purity of more than 95%.

Recycled plastics are about 15 tons/day, which are used for recycled plastic granule processing.

Organic waste is converted into compost and supplied to the local agricultural market, producing about 200 tons of high-quality organic fertilizer per month.

 

Through this project, Guoxin Group has further expanded its market share in Latin America, established a good international brand image, and laid the foundation for expanding similar markets in the future.
